next day......
Bam,Novak,Ryan, and all the other guys were outside in front of Castle Bam.They were all trying
to think up something to do.
"How 'bout we do something to Vito?", suggested Raab.
"Maybe.But I don't really
think there's much more we can do to him.We've done every fuckin' thing possible to him!", laughed Dico.
"Okay.Then
how about going somewhere?" asked Glob.
"We've been almost everywhere and where do we have left to go that inhabitable?"
asked Bam.
All the guys started to talk at once throwing suggestions for places to go, at Bam.
"Fuck!We supposed
to go to all the places at once?", Bam said.
"Whatever you wanna do Bam-Bam.It's up to you." Novak told him.
Then,
a cell phone rang.All the guys picked theirs up thinking it was their cell phone that was ringing.
"It's mine.", Novak
announced laughing.
"Hello?", he answered.
"Is this Brandon Novak?", a male voice asked on the other end.
"Ummmmmm...Depending on who I'm talking to.", he answered, getting a nervous feeling in his stomach.
"It's
not the police,if that's what you're thinking.I'm an old friend of yours." the male voice said.
"Ummmmmm.....oookay.Who?",
he asked.
"It's Jon,numbnuts!How you been?", the voice told him.
"Oh!Hey!Pretty good.You?", Novak asked.
"Oh,
same old shit,different day." Jon told him laughing.
They both laughed.The conversation went on for about 5 to 10
more minutes.
"Novak, I called to tell you that Leo got out of jail yesterday.And that he's been looking and asking
around for you.There's been talk about him doing something to you." Jon told him.
"I'm not going to worry.He doesn't
even know where I live now." Novak said.
"Okay.Hey man, I got to go.Let's grab a bite to eat and catch up some more
later,okay?Talk to you later buddy.Take care." Jon told him.
"You too.Bye." Novak said, closing his flip phone.
He
went back to the group of guys and they were still talking.He sat back down beside Bam, ready to join back in the conversation.
"Who was that Dreamseller?" Raab asked.
"Just an old friend I used to ummm.... skate with." he told them.
"Alright." Bam said.
They started talking again.Novak's mind drifted to the horrible things that could happen,but
he just pushed those thoughts aside.
