They
were in the Pirate Bar making something to eat. It was just them. Everyone else had gone to do errands.
They were goofing
off more then getting their lunch ready. She was trying to make a sandwich, when he came up behind her and smacked her on
the butt.
She gasped but in a happy, surprised way.
"What are you doing?" she asked him holding her backside.
"Nothing.
I was just exploring." he said, trying to hold back his laughter.
She smacked him lightly. Then she started laughing
as he grabbed her and pulled her in closer to him.
"You can't escape now,Miss Chloe Parker. I refuse to let you go
until you give me what I want." he said, smiling slyly.
"Oh really?" Chloe said, putting her arms around his neck.
"Yes."
he told her kissing her lips, then moving down to her neck.
"Brandon Novak, you are too much!" Chloe told him, nuzzling
into his neck.
He picked her up and put her on the counter.She shrieked in surprise, but was happy.
She pulled
him closer to her, so that they were holding each other.
He inhaled the smell of her.The perfume she always wore, Sweet
Pea.She knew he loved it, so that's why she wore it all the time.
But then she spoke up.
"Novak, I'm not like
all those other girls.I'm not gonna give in to you.I know how you play."
"I know you're not.And I can barely believe
it, but I'm okay with that.I'd like to actually earn it."
'Oh my god!Where did that come from?' he thought.
"I
don't know if you're serious or not,Novak. How can I be sure you didn't say that to all the other girls?I really like you
Brandon,but I don't want to get hurt." she told him, close to tears.
"Well maybe this will convince you." he told her.
He
pulled a velvet box out of his pocket.He heard her give a little gasp, as she saw the box.
"What is it?" she asked
breathlessly.
"Well look and see!" he told her smiling.
