Chapter 5
When
Novak found her, she was asleep, she looked almost peaceful. "Jade. Wake up." Novak said softly shaking her shoulder. She
opened her eyes and Novak gasped softly at the site of her deep brown eyes.
"What time is it?" she asked
"1:30."
Novak answered.
"Alright. Go get my keys I'm gonna just freshen up a bit then I'll go." Novak gripped her hand helping
her out of bed.
"Thanks. I swear i gain more weight every second." Jade joked.
Novak laughed lightly leaving
her room. Jade changed her shirt and brushed her out. Her throat was dry from sleeping and her eyes were red from crying.
she went into her bathroom and ran water over her face. she felt her jeans for her cellphone. Still no message. Sighing her
dried her face and came downstairs. Novak tossed her her keys.
"You guys can go out for dinner. Bam won't be here and
Dunn will probably stay over at Ashley's. I'm gonna eat on my way home." She told Novak and Raab walking out of the house
and shutting the door behind her.
Jenn's ring was still around her neck. She grabbed hold of it as she got into her
hummer. For a moment all she did was hold the ring. "Mental note. Go talk to Jenn." She whispered. Jade sighed she'd had known
Jenn as long as Bam had. hell Jenn had baby sat for her years ago. Jade smiled at that memory Jenn was always her favorite
babysitter. Even though Jenn was 10 years older then herself, Jade had always felt she was one of her best friends.Jade brushed
the memory aside and started up the hummer.
"Everything looks good, Miss Margera. Your due for a healthy baby." Jade
nodded thanking the doctor as he wrote down the date for her next appointment.
"Alright for your next appointment in
a month, do you want to know the sex of your baby?" the doctor asked.
"Yeah." Jade answered.
"Alright then.
See you in a month." The doctor wrote down that she wanted to know and handed the appointment reminder to Jade.
Jade
smiled and left.
Driving home Jade spotted Jenn's truck at the bar. "Oh lord." Jade pulled over and got out. Her heart
beat fast she she opened the door and walked in. Sure enough she spotted the petite woman with short curly brunette hair.
"Rivell!"
Jenn slowly turned around at the mention of her name. She saw he ex's sister and started to bolt, but she
stumbled and Jade ran over to her.
"Jenn. Jenn!" Jade shook her shoulders.
Jenn shook her head. "Leave me alone!
get your hands off me."
"Okay you've definitely had too much to drink."
"What do you care?!" Jenn asked.
"I
care because your my friend. Come on Bam left you can come back to the house and get your stuff." Jade told her.
After
a moment Jenn nodded and Jade helped her up.
"Your not mad at me?" She asked as they walked to Jade's hummer
"No
I'm pissed at Bam." Jade confessed.
"Join the club." Jenn remarked and both women cracked up laughing.
