Chapter 2
Jade
closed her fist over the ring. She got up and went back into the house. Novak was in the kitchen eating breakfast. She nodded
hello to him and went over to the sink to wash the ring off.
"So.....Where did Bam go?"
Novak asked trying
to make conversion. He had also heard their fight.
"I think he went to LA. Not that it surprises me. He always does
when something big is goin on with him."
"Dani's pregnant."
"No shit. I knew it was going happen to you one
day, Novaky. " Jade said turning off the water.
"Wait...that's all your goin say?" Novak asked.
"What the hell
do you want me to say?" Jade asked she headed upstairs to her room.
Novak followed her.
"This thing with Bam
and Jenn has you fucked up don't it?"
Jade pulled a silver chain out of her jewelry box. She slid the ring onto the
chain and put the chain around her neck.
"What was your first clue?"
Novak shrugged.
Jade kept her face
straight as she walked out of the room.
"I'm goin to go find Dunn. You do what ever the fuck you want."
Jade
slipped out of the back door slamming it behind her. She got into the driver's seat of her black hummer and put her head back
breathing deeply for a few moments before starting the engine and pulling out of the driveway.
