Chapter 11
April
started cooking some dinner. At first she was only going to cook for herself Phil and Jenn, but then realized no matter how
hung over the guys were they were gonna wanna eat.
She briefly thought about just taking Jenn out for dinner, cause
Phil didn't even care that the boys came in late last night and made a mess. He just laughed about it, and she was still angry
at the boys. 'Why can't they just grow up'
"Phil, Jenn come on before the boys ruin the food." Ape shouted.
Jenn
walked into the kitchen and then a little while later Phil waddled (like a lil duckie) in. Just as they sat down to eat Ryan
Dico and Raab walked.
"yum food!" raab said as he grabbed some chicken off of Jenn's place.
She just gave
him a look and grabbed some more.
"arrg mates, muwahahaha food!!!" Dico laughed as he said it in a pirate voice and
then a mad scientist voice.
Ryan just shook his head and grab a plate. April bited her lip, she wanted to yell at
Dico for puking on the floor but she held her tongue.
"Hey wheres Bam, I thought his skating thing was done at 3?
its 5? and wheres the cum stain too?" said Dico as he made a mountain out of his mashed potatoes. (I still do that so much
fun)
"Bam went out with Tony and Tim O'Connor hes gonna be back late tonight and Novak is still sleeping I think."
said April.
"In fact someone go wake him up, because I know as soon as I'm done with the dishes hes gonna wanna want
food and make a huge mess and not clean it up."
"I'll do it. Im in the mood to be nice." said Ryan as he pushed back
his chair and walked out of the kitchen.
"OOOO Novaky I need you!!" sang Ryan as he walked up the stairs.
He
soon came to a stop in front of Novak's closed door.
He kicked it open and smiled as he heard the wood crack.
It
was dark in the room and he waited for his eyes to adjust the darkness. He saw Novak leaning against the wall sleeping. His
head was dropping onto his shoulder and the dresser seemed to be holding him up from falling on the floor.
"Novak!get
up Ape made some food. But be nice I think she’s still mad about last night." Novak didn’t move.
Ryan
took a step forward and lightly nudge Novak shoe with his socked foot. Novak still didn’t move. Ryan got worried Novak's
not really a deep sleeper he would have wakened up by now. He crouched down in front of Novak face and shook him.
As
he was shaking him he heard a clink, he looked down to the floor and saw the needle rolling around. Then he stared at him
and his eye glanced to his left arm.
His veins were a dark color and were bulging. He pieced together what happened.
It was then he realized Novak had been crying earlier his face was still red and wet.
"SOMEBODY CALL 911 NOW!!!!!!!!!
HURRY!!!" Ryan shouted as he gently moved Novak too the floor.
He heard people approaching and saw April standing there
with a phone in her hand and Dico and Raab. Jenn came next and paled and sat down quickly on Novak bed as Raab sat down next
to her.
"What?! Ryan what happened!!" Dico asked as he dropped to his knees next to Ryan.
Phil just said "O
my god, Ape call them now."
April got off the phone with the 911 people and sat down next to Jenn. She looked so confused
and scared. Phil put his arms around her and Raab starting pacing. He punched the wall as he felt the tears coming.
Dico
pulled him away from the wall and got him to sit down on the floor next to him. Ryan heard the ambulance people coming up
the stairs shouting "Hello? Where are you It's the paramedics!"
"We're in here the second to last room on the left."
said Ryan in a shaky voice.
The paramedics came in and one actually had the nerve to shake his head and go
"Another
suicide, what a shame." Jenn sprung up with fire in her eyes and said in a cold voice "hes not dead yet, you have to help
him!"
They loaded him onto the stretcher and walked to the ambulance. No one spoke as Dico went over to the hummer
and started it up. Ryan climbed into the front seat and scooted as far over as he could as Raab climb into it next to him.
Jenn,
Phil, and April came into the back. April had started crying and her tears seem to have no end, her crying started up Jenn
and Raab.
The girls were loud cryers and Raab was silent about it. None saw Dico's eyes swelled up with tears, because
he put on sunglasses. They followed the ambulance out of the skate run drive wat and on to the highway.
"Somebody
call Bam and tell him to meet us at the hospital." Dico said as he gripped the steering wheel into his knuckles turned white.
Ryan took his phone out of his pocket and dialed Bams number.

B- Yo, random hero can I talk to
you tonight, we are kinda eating dinner. O Tony says hi. got to go. Tim says hi too. bye
R-Bam wait this is important.
Novak he umm he umm... 'I cant say suicide, it hurts to much' umm had a accident, meet us at the hospital that we went
to when you broke your foot.
B- what did he fall skating? or something. Ill try to be there but I gotta go now. Tell Novak
to suck it up and Ill buy him a beer or something tonight.
Bam hung up the phone. Ryan closed his eyes as he flipped
his phone shut.
The hospital came into the view. Dico parked right in front of a fire hydrant not caring. They raced
into the ER just in time to see Doctors wheeling Novak limp body into the Trauma room, a paramedic kneeling over his body
as she pushed onto his chest and another squeezing a bag full of oxygen into Novak's mouth.
They sat down and Ryan
opened a pack of cigarettes up and offered them to the gang. Jenn grabbed one and went in search of tissues. Dico sat down
next to Ryan and shoke his head at the cigarettes. Raab took one and light it up and Ryan did it too.

Bam~
"What did Ryan want” Tony asked on his took a sip of his beer.
“Novak fell skating or something
and they want me to come to the hospital.”
“Why? He probably just broke his arm or something, that doesn’t
really require the great BamBam.” Grinned Tim
“I dunno maybe VLB is filming it or something, but I hate
to leave but I gotta go. Heres $50 for dinner and the drinks. Ill call you guys later” Bam said as he walked away.
Bam
got in his lamborgini and started driving. He was only about 2 min from the hospital, so he arrived quickly. He stopped in
the gift store and grab a pink get well balloon as a joke.
He walked into the emergency room and was shocked at what
he saw.
“Dico? Why Ape crying its just a broken bone, its not a big deal. Ape Im starting to feel jealous, you
didn’t cry when I broke my foot.” He joked but his smile fell off his face as he heard jenn say “Bam sweetie,
Brandon he..he tried to commit suicide by heroin. They are trying to save him.”
Bam felt like someone told him
the world was ending in 10 seconds.
“But Ryan just said he had a accident, he never said…”Bam trailed
off as he sat down on the floor with his back to the wall.
“I just couldn’t say it Bam, I’m sorry.
I didn’t wanna believe it.” Said Ryan from his spot by the ashtray.
There were at least 10 fresh still
smoking cigarettes in it.
“Brandon Novak?” said a doctor
Everyone got up but April she couldn’t
bring herself to hear the noise that Novak could be dead.
