Ashley
had her hand on the doorknob when she stopped.She stood there and thought for a second.
'He's probably embarrassed
because of the arguements,confrontations, and him being exposed.Maybe I'll just tell him through the door.' she thought.
She took her hand off the doorknob.She brought it up instead, and knocked on the door.
"Ryan?"
she asked trying not to let her voice waiver."Alexia's on the phone.She wants to talk to you real bad.She says she misses
you."
Somewhat to her relief,& fear, the door cracked open a bit.
"I never heard the phone
ring." he said to her.
She could see his eyes.They were a little bit red.His cheeks were tear-stung,like they
seemed to always be nowadays.
"I called her.I figuredwe all missed her,so that would just be the right thing
to call her.You're not mad are you?" she asked timidly.
"No.I guess not." he told her with a sigh.
"Since
you're not mad at me,will you open the door so I can talk to you properly?"she asked.
He didn't say anything
for a moment.Then after a minute opened the door.
They stood there like that for a second,before Ashley stepped
forward and gave him a hug.
He looked kinda suprised at first,then wrapped his arms around her too.
"You're
one of my closest friends,Ryan.I'd hate to lose you.I love you." she said,crying.
"I love you too,Ashley." Ryan
told her,crying too.
"Well Alexia's on the phone.We shouldn't keep her waiting." she said pulling out of the
hug, and wiping her eyes.
"Yea.Let's go." Ryan told her heading towards the living room.
