She felt a lump rise up in her throat as she approached the bathroom door.

Ryan found a boxcutter.He pulled up the sleeve on his left hand.

 

He dug the blade into his skin and etched a new line into his arm.

 

This used to be his reliever,got rid of all the pain.Keyword there:used to.Now it just hurt.

 

It was not supposed to hurt.Or so he thought.

 

He used to be able to release his pain by cutting.It never hurt him before.

 

But now,to him,for some weird reason,hurt him.He no longer felt the release he used to feel.

 

Like everything that was crushing him,or nagging him or whatever,was suddenly lifted when he cut himself.

 

'I saw Ashley talking on the phone to Lexia.I bet she's telling her what I've been doing.' he thought.

 

He felt angry,sad,depressed,and most of all,lonely.Lonely without Lexia.

 

He felt angry that she is gone,and angry that his friends think he's an idiot and they didn't care about him.

 

He out his back against the wall and slid down the wall,so that he was sitting on the floor.

 

He pulled out the blade and picked a spot that he had already cut before.He traced along the line with the edge of the blade.

 

The blade glinted as it dug into his old sore.A single tear ran down his face as he tried to relieve the pain.

 

Then all of a sudden, he heard the doorknob turn.He watched in horror as the doorknob turned and the door opened...
