He sat there on the steps thinking about when she left.He hadn't heard from her in 3 days.

 

'She probably doesn't love me anymore.' Ryan thought,a lump forming in his throat.

 

He just sat there staring at things in the the living room,trying not to cry,when he heard a door open and close lightly.

 

He didn't know whether he should run or hide or just sit there.

 

"Ryan?" a voice said."What are you doing up?"

 

"Couldn't sleep." he told them not looking at them.

 

He felt the person sit sown beside him on the stair.He scooted over a bit,so they could sit down.

 

"Are you okay?" they asked.

 

"I guess." he told them,rubbing his eyes.

 

"Been thinking about Alexia?", she asked him,sort of knowingly.

 

"How'd you know?" he asked her amazed.

 

"Whenever you talk or think about her,you get this certain look in your eyes." she told him smiling softly.

 

"Oh." he said smiling feebly.

 

"You really miss her that much don't you?" she asked him gently.

 

"Everyday. Every time she leaves,I feel as if a part of me dies,just goes away with her." he told her.

 

"Is that why you've been depressed?" she asked him,already knowing the answer.

 

"Yea.I guess.If that's what you wanna call it." he told her.

 

"You know she misses you all the time too,right?She told me about how she feels when she's away from you." she said to him.

 

"Well why hasn't she called?" Ryan aske her getting a little bit annoyed.

 

"You know how hectic it gets.She wants to call.It's probaly her stupid manager,Shawn,not letting her call." she said.

 

"Well it feels as if she doesn't love me,or else forgets about me." he said,tears starting to come to his eyes.

 

"Ryan she loves you more then life itself!" she told him trying to make him see.

 

"Then it doens't feel like it!" Ryan said as tears started to fall freely down his face.

 

"Ryan you know she loves you!Whatever makes you think she doesn't?" she asked him.

 

"I don't know.It just feels that way.I don't know Ashley!" he told her putting hs head between his legs.

 

Ashley didn't really know what to domso she just put her arms around Ryan.That's all she could do/

 

Just hold him until he felt somewhat better.

 

Ashley sat there on the steps,holding Ryan while he cried on her shoulder.Trying to make him feel better so he wouldn't go and cut himself again.

 

She pulled him tighter as she thught of him cutting himself.Silent tears started to fall down her face.
