Chapter 1 

 

He let out a gasp as the blade went into his skin.

 

He felt the warm liquid spill from his wrist.

 

He looked down at the crimson liquid gently dripping out of his wrist.

 

He removed the blade and put a washcloth,which he hid in a special place,onto his self-inflicted wound.
 
He had to hide the washcloth.

 

He couldn't risk it if any of the others found out what he was and/or what he did to himself.

 

He doesn't know why he does it.Cuts himself.

 

He could never imagine his friends reactions if he told them.Especially Bam's.

 

His best friend in the whole world;his rock.Bam would be so disappointed.
 
'As if Bam isn't already disappointed in me enough.',he thought to himself.
 
He placed the blade in a new spot & cut himself again.  
 
"Hey Dunn!Are you in there?",asked Dico through the door.
 
"Yea,it's me.",Ryan said, putting the washcloth over his newly fresh wounds.
 
"Well hurry up! We're getting ready to go & watch Bam skate!" Dico replied.
 
"Ok.I'm coming.Just give me a sec." Ryan told Dico through the door.
 
"OK.But HURRY UP!!" he said.
 
Ryan took off the washcloth, and stuck it back in it's hiding spot.

 

He pulled his sleeve back down as he stood up.

 

He flushed the toilet so it'd look like he had been using the bathroom.

 

He glanced at himself in the mirror.
 
'I'd love for all this to just end. Just to stop trying, and give up & let it envelop me, so all the pain will go away and stop.'he thought to himself as he walked out the bathroom door.
