Life Isn't Fair

Chapter 1
He
woke with a start as he heard the front door slam open. He heard his mom begging his dad not to be so loud. He glanced at
the clock next to his bed 4:49 am. He climb out of bed but froze as he heard his Dad yelling
"Where the fuck is the
money bitch!?"
HIs mom just said"The hositpal hasn't paid me yet, please just come to bed."
Her voice cracked
on "come".He silently opened his door a crack just in time to see his Dad slap his mom across the face and she stumbling backwards.
He
growled as he took a step closer hand rasied.
"I know you got fucking paid whore, just give me the money or maybe our
dear son can pay me"
"NO! it's in my purse just take it please"she sobbed.
His dad stormed over to her purse
takin all of her money and left the house. His mom walked over and picked up her purse her body shaking with silent sobs and
went into to her room.
He climbed back into to bed hot tears dropping onto his teddy bear. He didn't remember falling
back asleep but next thing he knew his mom was calling him into the kitchen.
He quickly changed into jeans and a long
sleeve t-shirt. As he walked into the kitchen he studied her face. She must have used alot of makeup to cover the mark he
left because it didnt show.
She had on her nurse uniform and his coat in one hand and strawberry poptart in the other.
"I have to work at the hositpal to 7 tonight Mrs. Brown is going to watch you, I'll see you tonight." she said in
a tired voice.
"Okay Mommy bye!"
He replied as he put on his coat. He started toward the door but turned as
he mom said
"O and Brandon stay out of trouble you hear!" He smiled and waved as he ran out into the cold morning,
munching on his poptart.
