April
sat there.
Frozen.
She could hear the person behind her breathing...Growling almost.
April's body
began to shake as she heard the door creak shut.
She closed her eyes.
She heard footsteps...They came closer.
And closer
And closer still.
Soon they were stood directly above her.
Sweat ran down April's
forehead.
A hand!
On her shoulder!
"OH PLEASE GOD!..NO! I SWEAR PLEASE!"
April thrashed her
arms about defending herself from whoever was trying to grab her.
"Ape!...Ape!"
April stopped thrashing and
looked up.
It was Phil.
April threw her arms around him, and began to sob into his shoulder.
"Oh..." She sobbed
"Oh i thought you were her, i thought you'd come to hurt me!"
"No...Sshh, there there Ape. I'm here now." Phil helped
April up and led her to the bed to sit down and calm down.
When he was sure she was ok he began packing up the stuff
from the hidden drawer.
"What are you doind that for?" She asked, wiping away the tears.
"Keeping us all from
getting hurt." He replied.
"But...We need to show Bam this." She whimpered.
"Bam already knows...We found
it last week." Phil looked up at his beloved wife. Tears still falling from her loving eyes. He smiled to show comfort, but
inside...He felt like joining her.
"What do we do Phil?...How do we stop it?"
Phil sighed.
"We don't
know yet...All we know is that on halloween it's planning something...Something big, Something..."
Phil didn't have
time to finish his sentence before they heard approaching footsteps.
Phil grabbed April and they both hid in Bam's
part of the wardrobe.
Slowly...The door creaked open.
